Fishermen can be found on Britain's wildest rivers as well as by the ponds, canals and forgotten rivers in our towns and cities. Fishing is embedded in our culture and like all sports, there are a select few who live and breathe it, thinking of little else. So while surfing may have the surf bum, fly fishing has a more curious creature. For our first product drop of 2023, we are celebrating the trout bum.

  

We shot the Trout Bum Collection on the River Wandle that runs through south London. Its source rises from a spring near a Tesco in South Croydon and runs into the Thames. In the Victorian times, there were 90 mills on the river but by the 1960s, it was officially declared a sewer. Thanks to tireless work, today there are brown trout, chub, roach and perch living in it again.
